27 is a great number

Tyler turned 27 on Halloween! Yes yes I am just getting to blogging about it. Everyone always asks, does Tyler like a holiday birthday and my answer is most definitely YES! He loves it. He loves Halloween and so it is only fitting to have his birthday on that holiday. I think he also likes it because since its on a holiday we spread out his birth"day" into a birth"week".

We started out his birthday with our traditional Tucanos birthday dinner. I must say I love the food there, but its probably a good thing we only eat there once a year becuase I stuff myself silly. And Aspen must have loved it to becuase she probably ate just as much as me. Luckily she is still not 3 yet and she was free, but I am pretty sure they should have charged us for her!

Than on Saturday I made Tyler his birthday cake. He loves chocolate cake and although I can't make desserts look pretty they always taste good! Aspen had fun blowing out the candles with daddy. She sure is a big helper :)Sunday came by very fast. And I say this becuase Tyler wanted to show off our new house to all of our family and have a special b-day dinner with everyone over! So that meant I had 2 weeks to un-pack my house and make it look presentable, all while planning Tyler's birthday and Halloween with 2 kids! But it made me get it done, ill have to post pictures of our new house later. So on Tylers actually birthday both our families came over for soup and dessert. I made potato soup which is a tradition in Tyler's family for Halloween. Than he got yet another favorite dessert, cheesecake!

Here are a few things I love about Tyler.

• He always calls me pretty lady and more important he makes me feel pretty.
• Whenever he walks in the house he comes straight to me and gives me a kiss.
• He always takes out the trash.
• He would rather spend time with me and the kids than anyone else. He never needs quiet time or time to hang out with the guys. He wants to always be moving or doing something.
• He loves to always have a project going.
  
• He is a perfectionist and will continue to do something until he gets it right. Which of course I do not like while he is doing it, but after he is done I love it becuase its perfect!
• Whenever he says a project will take 30 minutes I know to plan on at least 1 1/2 hours.
• He is always the first to help others around the house or with their cars and he actually enjoys it.
• He never complains and always makes the best of every situation.
• He smiles with his eyes and lets be honest he is just plain hot!
