Twas the Night Before Christmas...

I have been debating whether or not to switch to wordpress or another blog that downloads pictures better, but I don't have the time to find one or to set it up so I am sticking with blogspot for now. But that is why I haven't blogged in forever! Well here it goes :)

Christmas was perfect to say the least! I was a super bargain shopper this year and had all of my Christmas done weeks in advance. So I was so eager and anxious for Christmas to come. I was for sure worse than the kids. As they get older I bet they will be as inpatient as I am. I just get so excited about Christmas. Many days I would ask Tyler if we could just do it earlier, but of course we waited for Santa to come!

It was the Sperry's turn to have us for Christmas this year and we decided to have Christmas Eve at our house! We started off making a craft with the older kids. Janei'a came up with the idea, clothespin reindeer. They loved it!
We had a yummy dinner which was all finger foods. This has been a tradition in my family ever since I can remember. Than Tyler and Kelly surprised us with singing and playing the guitar. Silent Night sounded so beautiful and set the mood for our spiritual Christmas Eve.
Than my dad read the true story of Christmas to all the Grandkids.
After my family left for the night we continued on with some more traditions. The kids exchanged their Christmas presents to each other and they also got the Christmas jammies. Both Tyler and I grew up exchanging the kids present so it was nice to carry on the tradition!

I didn't know they both played guitar! That's awesome! We will have entertainment at our next family gathering ;)
