We went on the Visions of the Sea with Royal Caribbean. The ship was one of their smaller ships, but it was still massive. There was so much to do we found ourselves busy all day and night. Here is some pictures of some of the stuff we did. When we first got there we had to do an emergency drill
Tyler took FIRST place for the men's speed climbing. Go babe.
We tried to workout everyday. Tyler usually went climbing while the rest us hit the gym or went running on the top deck. It was a lot of fun to workout as a family and run on top of the ship.
Playing toothpicks at the pool when no one else was there.
Enjoying the nightly shows. I really enjoyed the magician and the ventriloquist. Sadly I don't like 70's music or Broadway a whole lot so the other nights Tyler and I left the shows early.
The food!!!
I have heard the food on cruises is excellent, but I had no clue how good. Let me tell you, our food was delicious. But the best part about it is you can order as many entrees, appetizers and desserts that you want. This was great becuase I was able to TRY things I would have never tried before. I got to try lobster tail, scallops, lamb and many other things. And I can honestly say I loved everything I ate! Yummy. Her are some fun pictures of us at dinner.

Redrick and his Wife
Redrick, Ivo and the Family
Our head waiter and assistant waiter were INCREDIBLE! That was the best service I have ever had and I am not sure how I will survive going to restaurants in America.
Redrick and his wife stay on the ship for 6 months at a time. They leave 3 kids at home to come and earn money to survive. I was such a baby just to leave Aspen at home and here this cute family leaves their family for 6 months in order to survive. Redrick was so attentive to our table and always knew exactly what we wanted. The table next to us also happened to be LDS and Redrick noticed we both didn't drink wine. So from the second night on he never even put wine goblets at our table. He once asked us about our relgion and we told him we were mormon. He then went on to tell us he had a Mormon Bible (aka Book Of Mormon). He said he has read from it and as soon as he gets home he is going to a Mormon church. What a great way to share the gospel with someone.

The cruise was such an amazing experience. It was my first cruise, but defenietyly not my last. I hope to go on lots more. It was so nice to be with no kids and just adults for a whole week. Us adults got to be silly and relaxed. We were able to enjoys each others company without any interuptions. But I was defentlity ready to come home to Aspen after. Thanks Mom and Dad for paying for all us to go on a cruise! It was a memorable experience.
