Cruise

I did this cruise in 5 parts becuase there was so much to write about, so read on. As you can see from the many pictures we had a BLAST. This was the first time my entire family has spent this much time together since everyone was married and had kids. It was so great to laugh and be able to be ourselves without any stress. If you have never been on a cruise I highly reccomend it. It is my new favorite way to go to places I have never been. We are hoping to go on a Mediterranean cruise in 2 years.

Leaving Aspen was SO hard. I am such a baby and cried for a long time when I had to make the decision. I knew she would be fine with Grandma, but she was my little baby and I wondered how I would do without her. I was worried about being able to nurse when I got back. To all those moms out their considering leaveing their little baby, I say DO IT! It was so nice to be able to spend quality time with Tyler and my family. While I had a great time and know I can leave other future babies, I probably would not leave a nursing baby for 8 days. Pumping got very old and my milk supply started to dwindle towards the end. Every time I pumped I thought of Aspen. At day 6 I was ready to be done with the trip and get home to my little girl. But I did last all 8 days and it was well worth it. The great news is Aspen is back on her normal schedule again and nursing. Hip Hip Hurray!
