We are having a....

GIRL!!! We had an early ultrasound today and they didn't get the best view becuase she was moving lots, but said they were 88% sure that we are having a girl. She definitely moves a lot becuase I am been feeling her non-stop for about a week. In the past few weeks I have gone back and forth on what I want, but I am THRILLED with a little girl. She will be the best helper. We have already picked out a name, Aspen. I have loved that name since I was in High School and I am happy that Tyler loves it to. So little Aspen Mason is coming in July. Tyler is of course not convinced it is a GIRL, since they didn't have the best view. We get a better ultrasound on March 14 and then we will know for sure!

Can you moms out there help me out?!?! I am going to start buying diapers and was wondering what brands you like the best for the different stages? Any other suggestions you have for a first time mom about registering and buying stuff?!?! Thanks guys.

Oh gosh I am so excited for you!! Little girls are so much fun...and I LOVE the name Aspen. My little niece is named Aspen and if they hadn't taken it Josh and I would have! So cute...you are going to make a great mom.

Congrats! We almost used the name Aspen. :)

Diapers: I have never bought by brand but bought by whats on sale--or whats a costco. Don't buy too many new born diapers...they grow out of them too fast. It is a good idea to get a "food storage" going of diapers though...always good to think ahead.

As for other things...onesies! Get lots of onesies in everysize...in Summer, thats all she'll wear. In colder weather, its nice for her to have an undershirt... think about how many "layers" you wear. Babies need one more layer then the mom wears. Get one or two plain shirts in Newborn or even Premie size for when she is just a day old...you don't want anything tight covering her belly button. :)

Sleepers: unless you are wanting to do a ton of laundry all the time, get lots of sleepers in lots of sizes.

Don't buy too many dresses. I made this mistake. They are so dang cute, but they grow so fast that Tanith only wore some of them once. :( sad!

Robeez shoes are the best for babies...so soft, and they actually stay on their feet--they can't kick them off!! http://www.robeez.com/Department.aspx?DeptID=223&PriceCat=2&Lang=EN-US&RefID=9021

I LOVE "babylegs". You might have seen Tanith wearing them. They are like legwarmers. She often wears them under a skirt. Anyway, they are great with just a onesie in hot weather, around the house, on an airplane, in the car etc. Makes diaper changes SO easy! http://www.babylegs.net/

Congrats!!! Girls are so much fun!

OMG, I am so excited for you all these little girls will be best friends. I loved the pampers I got with the flex straps to help with leaks and they are soft. My SIL threw a family shower where she asked people to bring diapers for a door prize and I got tons of all huggies and they are ok but a little stiffer than pampers. I have not started using generic yet. But Costco is great for wipes (you will need tons of wipes, I go through a ton) I am so excited for you.

Yeah!!! I can't help you at all in the girl field! I guess I am a pro on boys! We'll have to learn together! There are going to be a lot of new baby girls in the family this summer.

Congrats Tiff!! That is so great, girls are SO much fun. Now we will have to get all the little girl cousins together. Aspen is such a cute name too. Sounds like no one is having a hard time with girl names but me!

As for diapers, I loved the newborn pampers diapers, but once Sydney fit into Costco size I never went back. Costco now has sizes 1-2, which they didn't when I had Sydney. I think Costco diapers are the best, and not just for the price.

YAY! Congrats! I love the name Aspen! You are so prepared already! (it took us forever to pick names) As far as diapers go, we learned that Pampers Swaddlers are by far the best for the newborns... and we've only had a few days in size 1s so i'm not sure which ones are the best, but for Newborns... for sure go with the Pampers Swaddlers (yellow packaging). And I love the Costco wipes the most... pretty good deal pricewise, and they are the softest! I'm so excited for you guys!
