Double the Fun

Danny was born on the same day as me so we sure had double the fun on April 9th! I usually make a special breakfast for my kids on their birthday, but since it was my birthday to Tyler did the honors. And boy did he go all out! He made pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage and it was all delicious! Than Tyler and kids let me open my presents! Of course I got spoiled. Than it was time to get ready for Danny's 1st birthday!

We decided to have a small family only party this year and its a good thing because I was sure running behind. Don't know what it is about me lately, but I feel like I am always late for things! But our families were patient and we all enjoyed a yummy bbq! Than we let Danny open his presents. He sure got some high quality stuff. I even heard rob say "I wish I got that much stuff on my birthday" After opening his presents we set the sand table up in the kitchen and let the kids play. Than Tyler took them all on a wagon ride. After we were all tired Danny got to eat birthday cake. Its been a tradition in the Sperry family to do the tennis ball cake so that is what Danny got. I baked the cake and my mom helped me decorate it. I also had some cupcakes for everyone else. For party favors I got all different sorts of balls and a sports drink to give to the kids and of course I threw in a little candy.

After the party I took a well deserved nap while the kids were sleeping. Than we headed up to the restaurant of my choice, Sweet Tomatoes. I love this restaurant! Danny loved it to. Aspen even learned to wink while we were there.
