Aspen actually caught on a little bit this year. She got to trick or treat at a both grandparents houses and a few extra houses with her cousins. She carried her pail the whole time, but needed a little extra encouragement to go up to the door. Once she got the candy she didn't want to let go.
Halloween is also Tylers birthday. He LOVES celebrating Halloween on his birthday. Especially as a child because he always got extra candy. This year Tyler asked everyone to pitch in and buy him his new netbook computer, so he didn't have anything to open on his birthday. But we still celebrated. I made him his favorite chocolate cake, and we went out to dinner and saw a movie. We saw Where the Wild Things are and I must admit I liked it. It was a bit slow and sad, but I thought it followed the book very well and had a great point to it. I don't think its a great show for kids though.
