Aspen is so ready for a new car seat. She is only 13 lbs and not even a year yet so we need to get one that can be rear facing, but also turn into front facing when she gets a little older. We want a car seat that will last through 3 kids (since I know car seats only last 5-6 years).
So Tyler and I went shopping and fell in love with the Britax. Not only is it rated number 1 for safety, but I love all the cool features it has. Microfiber cover, it clicks when it tight enough and I love the side crash panels that protect their face if you get in a crash. So the big question is, IS IT REALLY WORTH THE EXTRA COSTS?

It is absolutely worth it!! I have 2 of them and they are so awesome. It's easy to attach to the car and the straps NEVER get tangled. I have a lot of friends who hate their other car seats. Mine has lasted for 5 years so far and still great. Go for it, you only buy 1 or 2 your whole life, spend the extra money...
We got a Britax and love it. It is completely worth it to spend a little extra money.
I only hear good things about the Britax...however, we went with one -just- under that one in consumer reports quality and WAY under it in price and we've been very happy.
Just swear you won't get tempted to turn it forward before she's at least 20 pounds. I have heard too many stories of pre-mature forward facing babies that resulted in premature death...YIKES.
Get that baby fat before you do it! :)
We have a Britax and love it. It's really comfortable for the kid too. Jessica will be in hers for a few more years, so now we have to buy another one. Just keep that in mind as far as price.
Aspen looks so Sperry in that picture to the side! So cute!
Tiff, we have the britax and it it he best car seat. Brink loves it so much. My mom has another car seat and Brink hates it, the britax must be comfy. Its easy to clean and very durable ours has seen many airports.
