Sleep

Aspen is almost 3 months! So crazy. Anyway I remember reading in baby wise that kids can start sleeping through the night between 2-3 months. Since Aspen is almost 3 months I decided to put it to the test this week. Aspen normally wakes up at 4am and then again at 8am. So Sunday night when 4am rolled around and Aspen started crying I woke up and put her Binky back in her mouth to see if she would go back to sleep. Around 6am she woke back up and I tried the Binky thing again and she lasted until 8am without a feeding. (don't think I am a cruel mean mom, she usually screams and wont take a Binky if she is hungry!) So Monday night rolls around and she wakes up at 5am. I try my theory again and she fell back asleep until 9am. Tue comes quickly and she slept straight through the night and did not wake up until 8am. She is officially sleeping about 9 hours straight at night. Can I tell you how happy I am. Hopefully she will keep it up. I find I have so much more energy now that she is sleeping through the night.
