The Simple Life

I love how simple life is to Aspen. She can be entertained for hours with the most simple toys. One night I was making dinner and had to soak some tooth picks in water. When I had used all the toothpicks I needed I let Aspen play with the rest. She played with this cup of water and toothpicks for over an hour while I finished making dinner.

The other night Tyler and I were playing Yahtzee and we gave Aspen some dice and the cup to keep herself entertained. Now that is her favorite toy in the world. She will take the dice and put them in the car like they are little people. Every time she wakes up she immediately yells, dice, cars! I think it is so cute. I don't want to ever forget the simpleness and sweetness of my little Aspen.

Most of you know I was terrified to do little girls hair. Now that I have Aspen I love it. In jan I decided to see how long Aspen's hair really was and straighten it out. I think it turned out so cute!

Here is another little hair do I did for church. She sits so good for me and it has been so fun to try lots of different styles out. Now I still need to learn how to french braid!

As for my pregnancy, things are looking a little better. I am not on bed rest anymore and the numbness has gone away. I guess it was just an allergic reaction to the iron pills. So I got some different iron pills and after about a week I got used to them and they don't make me sick anymore. Also my iron went up 5 points in 2 weeks so now I am off the high dose prescription pills and can just take a normal does of iron. Good news is I have gained a lot less weight with Danny than I did with Aspen at this point. Also Danny has dropped, so I am hoping that he will come a little early!
