7 months!

I am now into the last part of my pregnancy. I have about 8 weeks left. It does seem like its gone by pretty fast and the next 8 weeks we are really busy so I hope time goes even faster. Pregnancy is not what I imagined. I know its different for every person and probably every pregnancy, but it has been hard for me. I thought it was going to be my back that gave me the most problems, but it has actually been my legs and braxton hicks contractions. I started getting leg cramps and braxton hicks around 28 weeks. It has just gotten worse as time goes on. The doctor thinks I get them so bad becuase of teaching tennis. The good news is they don't hurt the baby. She is very healthy. The bad news is that on the days I teach tennis I have to be on bed rest when I am not teaching. So my day consists of teaching and laying around a lot. Needless to say you can imagine how dirty my house can get. I still plan on teaching right up until I have Aspen. But I am slowly cutting back my hours. So does anyone have any suggestions for swollen crampy legs and feet or braxton hicks contractions!?!

Also I have had several people ask how Tyler likes his new job! He absolutely loves it. He loves what he does and loves the people he works with. This is such a great start to his career. He is still adjusting to being in an office 8-5 and then teaching tennis tue, wed, thur 6-9. He comes home so exhausted. But wouldn't you if you were working that many hours a week. He is still so sweet and helps out so much. This past weekend he cleaned our kitchen and front room! Thanks babe!

Tyler is a huge help and you are so lucky to have him. Wish I could take away those swollen ankles for you. Keep them elevated as much as you can. Aspen will be here before you know it.

Braxton Hicks contractions are actually really productive. Its like you're body is just practicing for your labor---and I would highly suggest you DON'T try to stop them. Just stop yourself when they happen and rest.

But just like Annette said, Aspen will be here SO SOON that you won't even know what hitchya. Take every day one at a time...you're doing great! And you look killer for only having 8 weeks left!

I'm so happy that you and I are almost done. Pregnancy is not all roses but babies are so great. I can't wait to see pictures of Aspen. I bet she will be soooooo cute. Props to you for still teaching, you are one tough cookie.

Hey Tiff, you're doing great! Believe me I know how you feel, pregnancies are really hard on me, and I get all the pains and discomforts you can think of!
The best thing for swollen legs is to keep them elevated and drink lots of water! and always check your blood pressure to watch out for preeclampsia. Hey if you need ANYTHING please let me know, I'm just a door knock away! Maria

I can't believe you are already seven months pregnant! That is so exciting. i am sorry that your legs are bothering you so much. It has been way too long since i have seen you and way too long since I have played tennis. Ryan finally started getting separation anxiety when we leave him places and so I haven't even been able to come to the group lessons because he won't stay in day care. I hope you start feeling better and I can only hope I will get to play tennis again!
