Tyler and I just got back from a perfect vacation. We went to sunny California. We stayed at my best friends house in San Clemente area and had a blast. The first day started out with a 6:30am flight, but don't worry the day got better. We spent the next 9 hours at Disneyland. It was a blast. I have to admit that Buzz Light-Year really is the coolest ride. We also enjoyed Tower of Terror, Splash Mountain, Soaring over California, and Space Mountain. The best part about Disneyland was that we never waited over 20 minutes for a ride. Isn't that incredible! We thought so. Although Disneyland was a blast I think I can wait until my kids are old enough to enjoy it to go back.
We also were able to go to Six Flag Magic Mountain. Now not to disappoint all you Disneyland Lovers, but Magic Mountain is sooooooo much better! The roller coasters there are by far the best I have ever been on. Especially the X ride and Deja-Vu. Those 2 rides hands down are so scary. We also got lucky at Magic Mountain and didn't wait over 30 mins for the rides. So let me give you some advice. Go to California in May!!
Other then those 2 adventures we spent the rest of the time on the beach. Tyler and I learned how to surf and Tyler will tell you that was the best part of the trip. It was a great rush. Don't worry we did have wet suits on most of the time. Along with surfing, we got buggy board, body surf and just lay out on the beach. Talk about relaxing.
Thanks so much to Jamie and Andrew for letting us stay at their apt and letting us use their car. We had such a great time playing with them. This was a much needed vacation.
